Woodstick 2013 was a huge success! Check back to this page often as we will be adding more and more highlights including Woodstick News, Photos and Videos.
This year’s official headcount was 457 total participants. Not too shabby!
The President of the United States, Barack Obama arrived in Seattle early on ‘Woodstick-morning’, coincidence? We think not.
Woodstick 2013 was open to all ages. There was no smoking or alcohol in the showroom, of course, and the kids had an absolute blast! Woodstick 2013 also accommodated those with mobility and other challenges. Everyone had a good time.
Concessions (hot dogs, hamburgers, snacks, drinks) were available in the showroom. Coffee (and good coffee, no less) tea, and cold beverages were provided at no cost.
Our good friend Alan White was added late to our already star studded list of guest drummers. Alan and his band YES have just been nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class of 2014. He played his original 1960s Ludwig drum set. This is the same set he used to record John Lennon’s Imagine. We are really glad he could attend!!
HEART by HEART
Heart By Heart was one of our guest bands. The band features original Heart members and Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Steve Fossen and Michael Derosier. Participating drummers on the floor played along with the band – check the videos out here.
